Hi Guys,
I've got a Yamaha 1987 115ETXH with a stripped out spark plug hole. A mechanic says he previoulsy put in helicoil. The following year when I was replacing the plugs, this one would not come out easily, had to really crank it to remove, obvious damage to the threads.
I decide to replace the cylinder head assembly, purchased a new cylinder head, cylinder head cover, thermostat, and thermostat cover and gaskets from BOATS.net. Few questions:
Should also replace the anodes?
Any advise on removing the (20 year old) cylinder head bolts?
Can someone send me a shop service manual pdf? email gassner@bnl.gov
Many thanks,
Dave
