digital tach conversion?

i just bought a boat with a 150 vmax hpdi and the gauges were sun burnt and the new owner had purchased the new gauges but hadn't installed them. anyway i installed the speedo no problem (plug and go) but the new tach(pn 6y8-8350t-11-bk) has a different wiring configuration(4 prong plug socket as compared to a wiring pigtail with about 12 wires) is there a conversion or do i have buy a new gauge.

That tach(6y8-8350t-11-bk) is a Command Link gauge. Unless your motor is 2006 or newer then Command Link will not work.

tach problems

the motor is a 2001 as well. if this tach will not work can you give me the part # for the correct one. i can't find it anywhere
