86' 6hp ?

I had this thing apart before, but for the life of me I can't remember how to get lower unit off to change the impeller in the water pump. It seems that the shift rod is holding things up but I don't remember how I got it apart before. Any body know what I'm forgetting?

Not sure with your particular engine - but there are normally 4 bolts holding mid and lower section together, plus a hidden one under the sacrificial anode.

The connecting rod should simply unscrew.
