Alarms and no Tach Readings, Yam 200-1990

When key switch is turned on, Alarm horn continues to sound and all 3 oil indicators flash and Tach reads "0". Engine cranks and runs fine up to estimated 2200-2400rpm, then runs rough which I believe to be proper due to the safety system. (speed based on starboard engine throttle position). I've verified upper and sub oil tank levels ok.
Could this be a wiring problem or a Safety Reset problem? Any suggestions

Loose battery wire warning will sound alarm and flash all three lights. You need to have the elect system checked out, since the tach is not working the alternator may be bad also
