Won't idle correctly. ICV does not operate well. It buzzes rather than snap from 0 to 100% when doing the ICV actuate test with YDS. ICV and ECM are new. Cables are good. Can't think where else to go. Anyone got ideas??????

Some body among all you seasoned mechanics has got to have an idea of what to try next. -
I havn't had any issues with the idle speed valve. Most of the rough idle problems we have had with the F115 was resolve by sycn and link and throttle position sensor adjustment.Comment

I'm sure this is the problem but don't know what else to try. I have compared the ICV operation to a running motor and they are do operate differently. The running motor ICV has a clear clack clack sound when actuating and mine just kind of buzzes. Is there some baseline sensor value that has to be seen before this valve operates correctly?Comment

No the service manual gives no specs or information on it. Buzzing could indicate a low voltage, check that the connector pins are not corroded and check all grounds on engine block.Comment
