  • 1994 250 outbard yam ?????

For some time my starboard motor ran about 4 to 5 hund rpms lower the the port. I drove my crazy until I pulled the head off and found a hole in head. I ordered new head and gaskets replaced them figuring I found the problem well it helped now it is better but still 2hund rmp wide open. they used to be the same wide open. I am baffled I am getting spark to each new plug, I replaced the water separator filter and pulled the fuel filter off it looked clean but I cleaned it out anyhow still the same problem. I checked the compression and the whole right side ( the new head) was 95 and the left side 100. the other motor was close to the same The other head is also new it was replaced last year. I dont know if this will help but when i pull the top two wires off there is plenty of spark but there really is not much change in the rpms not as much as the other wires. I dont think that is it because both plugs have normal wear on them. I was wondering if I should replace the the cylnder head cover although it looked ok. Any suggestion?????

While I am asking the port motors runs great never any problems but it smokes more than the other and obviously burns more oil????
