I am looking at purchasing a hitachi external yamaha rectifier
part #648-81970-41 and hope to use on my yamaha 20 AE.
do I have the right part?
will this charge my battery from my motor by itself?
or do I need other parts for the motor to complete the charging system?
any help or better ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am new to outboard electrics.
