What is this wire for ?

I found a wire that's not connected to anything .
Engine is a S225TXRX
Photo attached.
It is located on the starboard side of the motor, aft, to the right of the bottom spark plug wire. One end is attached to a bolt marked in blue "ink", the other end is free. There is also another wire attached to this "blue" bolt but that second one is attached to something at the other end.

Ground wires....

I'd say off hand they are just grounding wires someone forgot to reattach to the block after some maintenance or repair issue.

That's what I was thinking. The connector definitely looks like something was biting down on it at some point. No one has been under there (except me and I know it wasn't me) for over a year and the thing still seems to run fine. I'd love to be able to re-attach it though to where it belongs.
