ordering parts

i need to order some parts, and after searching around i think this is a site where i can get everything i need, i think. but its not very user friendly. for instance, i need the shift rod that connects the cables to the lower unit and switchs b/t forward and reverese....the parts catalogs i have looked seem to always list the pn# for the ultra long one.....and i cant figure out if the correct one is here. i also need a water pump kit and cant figure out how to find that either i have heard good things about this site as a parts site, but i think i must not be using it right cause i cant find anything i need. any advice?

The shift shaft is 6H1-44120-12-00, number 50 at http://www.boats.net/parts/search.ht...CONTROL+ENGINE
The water repair kit is 692-W0078-A0-00 which is number 17 at http://www.boats.net/parts/search.ht...7CREPAIR+KIT+2
The water pump kit does include housing if you need that it's 688-44311-01-00

thank you. i had seen that water pump kit before, but had no idea what it included. i know different places have diff kits.....some kits included everything, some just gaskets and impeller, and some are anything inbetween. that was one of my hang ups, the shift rod i was just looking under the wrong list.
