I fitted a remote control attachment Kit 6G1-48501-50
Which was very easily fitted as per the instruction that came in the Box
However when i checked its operation and found the assembly binding up
i then worked out the linkage was not operating in the correct plane, when conected to the magneto control lever tang.
I have attached variouse pics of the angles it operates in but cant understand why the fixed right angle is so tight when the leaver has to change angle when the throttle magneto control lever travels through its Arc.
Ultimatly this lead to its failure as you will see
I believe for this to operate correctly it should have had 2 uniballs fitted to the linkage as the plane changes from closed to open throttle
I cant understand how the engineering can be wrong considering this engines been around for 20+ years
