At 6000 rpm,engine cuts back to about 5200. No alerts. It will then rev to 6000 again and drop back. Am I up against the rev limiter or is it possible coil failure. Thanks!
The rev limiter is at about 6200 rpm's on a F115 and it shouldn't reduce engine by 800 rpm's. It sounds like an ignition problem, make sure spark plugs are correct ones and are not fouled.
