2007 50TLR 2stroke tiller or remote?

I'm debating on a tiller or remote for my inflatable boat.
There are pro's and con's to both setups.
At this time cost is going to be the deciding factor.
E-bay has a tiller for a 98.
62Y-W0086-K1-4D
or
62Y-W0086-Z0-4D
Will they work on the later 2007 model?
The tiller kit listed on the Yamaha online parts catalog is quite expensive.
So much so that I can probably rig the boat with remote for less money.
E-bay has the 10 pin 703 controls with trim for about 160.00 (used).

I havn't tried it but it looks like the the older tiller kits will not work on the 2007.
