Went fishing and as I was coming off plane the trim motor shuttered. My ground to the trim motor, down solenoid, and battery post burned. I have since then replaced the ground wire, the down solenoid, and traced any additional wires. The new solenoid worked for a short time, and now I can only get it to click. My question is why do I keep blowing up trim solenoids? By the way when I wire the trim independently it works fine.
