  • Fuel gauge calibration

Can someone explain how to set the calibration dip switches. There are 3 switches for each of the 8 calibration settings (+3% thru -4% ). For each of the calibration settings the three switches can be set to "on" or "off". For example, if I want to calibrate the gauge for +2%, what should each of the 3 switches for the +2% setting be and what position should each of the 3 switches for the other 7 calibration settings be?

Found this info earlier in a different site, hope it hleps:
    +3% down down down
    +2% up down down
    +1% down up down
    0% up up down
    -1% down down up
    -2% up down up
    -3% down up up
    -4% up up up
So it is is best to go ahead and start at 0%(up up down). The fourth switch is: down for gallons and up for liters. And the fifth and sixth switch are: down / up for speedometer hookup and: up /down for gps hookup.
Note: For a 4 DIP switch gauge, the first three switches are for calibration (same as 6 DIP gauge above) while the fourth is up for liter's per hour and down for gallon's per hour.

Thanks for the info, here is where I am confused, lets say I start at 0% and set the 0% switches at up-up-down. What are the =1%, +2%, +3%, -1%.-2%,-3%,and -4% switches set at?
