250 Powerhead compatability (swap)

Looking to swap powerheads after a popped piston in a 1997 carbed 250. Will a 2000 ox66 fuel injected powerhead bolt up to a 1997 carbed 250 mid section and lower unit? This is being considered in order to keep the correct shaft length since the possible donor motor is 30" and the blown is a 25".
