My engine cut out on me today and would not start.
Even though my fuel gauge said I had half a tank, I put in another five gallons of fuel, just in case it was malfunctioning.
Still wouldn't start.
I disconnected the fuel lines before and after the fuel/water separator and the the lines were dry. I cranked the engine and no fuel came out of the line.
Could this be a fuel pump problem?
I followed the fuel line back as far as I could but I didn't see the fuel pump. Any ideas where is the fuel pump is located? (The boat is a 2000 20' Scout Dorado).
Thanks.
