New and Need VST Filter help

Hello all, looking for some help. I know there must be a simple explanation, but how the heck do you get the fancy looking silver clamp thing off the one side of the VST filter? ALso, what is the part number for this thingamabobber. Engine is a 2005 200 HPDI - thanks.

the clamps need to be cut off and replaced, SHOULD be replaced with the same crimp clamps.

Understand about the clamps, what I was actually talking about is what Yam refers to as a "Pipe Joint" it is P/N 68F-24300-00-00 Figured it out this morning after taking a breather and now all is well.
