My port 2000 200hp HPDI is not charging properly. I have the aux charge lead hooked up to the house battery on this motor and on my last trip out my GPS voltmeter showed the house battery was being charged at 14.7 volts. This is much higher than I have ever seen it charge. I neglected to check what the starting battery was being charged at but a couple days after the trip I checked the two batteries voltage and the house battery read 12.83 and the starting battery read 10.50.
The batteries are 6 month old AGM's and I believe they are in great condition as I checked their voltage before the trip and both read in the 12.8 range. Does this sound like a bad rectifier/regulator or a bad lighting coil?
Also, no accessories were left on to run the starting battery down.
