help w. yamaha 25hp

hi there the problem im having is that. on a cold start the motor starts up with no problem..

after the motor is warmed up and i shut it off to fish or whatever, as soon as i goto restart. the motor hesitates..i adj the idle but the idle is to high..

this problem has been going on since i bought the boat.. the carb has been cleaned and i changed the plug. any suggestions

Might check the timming and carb pilot screw setting is by specs.

i have already adj the idle screw, where is the timing screw,

Depending on the model the timing may or may not be controled by CDI but it needs to be checked to see if ok.
