I have 2 – SX 250 Z, I originally thought the problem was in the fuel line with one motor, I inspected that and put on a new fuel filter and new spark pugs. The motor stops cold at 3800 RPM. Starts right up and runs until the speed is increased to 38 to 4000.
There are not many Yamaha repair people where I am located, the one that is happens to be 75 miles away is very uncooperative.
In looking at the service manual I see that there are test harnesses. I can’t find them in the parts list. Can these be bought, as even if a new part is bought some need to be adjusted using these test harness.
