    Can anyone identify which hole in the lower unit is used to operate the speedometer on my '86 ProV 150? Thanks

    it would be on the leading edge of the lower unit, about halfway up from bottom to cav platemaybe 5 inches. its a stainless tube bout 1/8 " and clog much....i use pitot tubes off transom.

      Thanks for the quick response. Five inches below the cav plate and approx. 4 1/2" inches back from the leading edge, there's a hole that has a channel about 1/8" wide, (in front of the hole). Should there be a stainless tube inserted in this channel/hole? Thanks again.

        ive an 89 pro v but i forget if the older models have them...THINK they do....but it WILL be in the leading edge.
