I have a 1991 150TRXP. Over the past weekend my batteries drained to the point that I had low battery warnings on things that I didn't even know had low battery warnings. My dash battery gauge was flashing, My vhf radio had a warning and my gps had a warning. Now two questions, 1; if I hook up my motor cables directly to the battery (bypassing all other electronic connections and possible problems)what should I have for voltage at the battery and #2 If the batteries had died completely will the motor keep running. I was going to run it tonight and disconnect the battery to check the voltage at the end of the cables. I checked all the battery cables, the battery switch, and the batteries have been tested also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-you,
