  • Service Manuals-Yamaha vs Clymer

    I recently purchased a Yamaha Service Manual, LIT-18616-02-65 for a 2006 Yamaha 2 stroke TLR-50 HP.($53.00)(This manual is for a 2005 since 2006 are not available)

I was extremely disappointed in this manual because it is vary sparse with information, with out descriptions, useable charts and so forth.

I then purchased a Clymer($39.00) 2-90 HP, 2 Stroke-1999-2002 manual. (B786)This is just a wonderful book, chocked full of info ,charts, system descriptions etc.

So...just my 2 cents , If you are thinking about purchasing a service manual for your Yamaha Id'd seriously consider a Clymer manual.
