I tried to do an extensive search on my throttle lag problem. The check used
for the 'image verification' is one big pain in the neck. Sometimes it accepts
your inputs and other times not. I try to follow the case sensitivity carefully,
but still it rejects my input unless I repeat my submission several times. What
a drag!
I think I need an adjustment of my highspeed throttle cable on the T9.9, but
nobody has instructed me how to do this. This should be in the owners manual, but it isn't. Does one have to buy a factory manual to do this simple adjustment?
My previous post explains the problem, which I still feel is a cable adjustment.
Of course, it could be something more complicated like a float in the carb
getting stuck. If it were dirt in the high speed portion of the carb, I think the
engine would not recover, at all. If I turn the throttle control on the tiller
handle far enough, the engine will pick up and run ok, but then I have to
quickly back off to keep the speed reasonable.
