analog tach E40XMH

can anyone assist in how to hook up an analog tach to the 40hp 2 stroke engine.

i'll appreciate any assistance

If don't have gauges then order a 6Y5-83553-N0-00 gauge wire harness and connect to key switch. If its a Yamaha tach just match wire colors, if it's not Yamaha connect green wire to sender terminal, yellow wire to ign terminal and black wire to ground terminal on tach.

It's a manual 2 stroke 40hp.All the wires are in a box inside under the cowling.
