The top plug on the left and the bottm plug on the left are fouling on my engine (2000 200hp hpdi) the top one is wet and the bottom is just black. The engine is lacking power as if it is running on 4 cyls. The boat sat for at least 1 year with little gas in the 140 gal. tank. I believe there was water in the tank and or the fuel was gummed up. I put 2 bottles of fuel injector cleaner in with 180 litres of fuel and it seemed to help quite a bit. How can I clean my injecters? There is also alot of a salty greasy film in my throttle body (behind the airbox) is there something recomended to clean it with? I have a 26 foot century with twin 200, the bad engine by itself will not plane my boat! It is really guttless. Any help is appreciated, Thanks

There are companys that will clean injectors like www.flagshipengine.com. The Vapor tank needs to be removed and cleaned and all fuel filters replaced. If the HPDI engines run lean it can cause serious engine damage.
