I have a 1987 225 outboard with a yamaha alarm meter. it has 4 signals. from the left of the meter is a red temp indicator then a red circle indicator showing a low oil? then a yellow indicator showing an oil can and last a green circle indicator showing full oil? the alarm points to the green circle and a steady buzz alarm . whats up? I have no instruction manuel for the gauge

If alarm is on then either the overheat or low oil(red) light should be on in gauge. Green indicates the oil level in boat tank is ok. Yellow would indicate boat oil tank is low on oil and needs to have oil added, At that time the oil transfer pump in boat oil tank quits transfering oil to engine tank and when it gets low the alarm will sound.
