I am installing a new Yamaha 4 stroke 75 hp on a pontoon that had a 1998 Yamaha 50 hp 4 stroke. I have a 4 pin connector (pink, grey, orange, black - male) on the boat side and a 4 pin connector (green, green/red - female) on the boat side. I see a 4 pin connector with all pink wires on the engine side that looks like it is for the trim sender, but it is the same style connector as the harness coming from the boat. Is there an adapter harness or two that I need for this situation? If so, please give me the part numbers and how it hooks to motor and each set of wires on the boat. Thanks. Nate

If you have the digital gauges from the 98 then they will not work on 2007 engine. You would need to order 6YR-W0035-E2-00 Multifunction tach kit with harness included. -
The boat is set up with analog gauges. The tach also has a light for oil warning and another light for temperature warning.Comment
