don't want to seem like a dummy, but i have a 1994 115 yamaha with no prop, need to know what diameter to look for thanks for any help

Hi, remember there are no dumb questions. I would suggest that you contact the boat manufacturer, and Tell them which motor you have and which model boat you have, and they should be able to help. The other way to go is to try calling Yamaha, tell them which boat you have. Another way, if you have a few friends with the same motor, is to borrow a couple of different size props, and see which one gets you into the proper RPM range, as per your owners manual.
