how do i replace seals on trim pump

one of the seals on the trim pump is corroded and needs to be replaced, i have the seal kit from yamaha but cannot get the nut with the four holes in it off, can anyone help!

use a sharp chisel and a hammer, catch the edge and it will come right off.
i did that many times they always came off.

what youre supposed to use is called a spanner wrench.

these are on pretty good, tried spanner wrench and it wouldn't budge
