I just bought a 1998 T9.9MLHW which is the high thrust version of the F9.9MLHW. I cannot find it listed in any OEM part guide on the internet.

I tried that, but the part looks different.
The Yamaha part locator says that it only lists motors that were sold in the USA. Is it possible that the high thrust version was not offered in the USA in 98? I searched this forum, and it appears quite a few people have the T9.9 in differnt years.

Here is what the handle looks like. The broken piece slides over the top of the tiller arm (which you can see in the 2nd pic). Either the t9.9 used a different arm than the f9.9, or it wasn't sold in the USA, or someone swapped the tiller arm from a non-1998 motor.
Thoughts?
