I've had trouble start a 50 HP, 2 stroke.w Prime StART?
It would start then die, start and die....and then run OK.
Discovered problem with a malfunctioning Fuel Tank Vent Valve.
Remove it(IT IS screwed to the tank output-hose CONNECTS to it)
Punch out the ball, spring, spacer and re-install.
Walla...... easy start
