Dear all,
I have a Yamaha 50HETOL 2 strokes outboard engine. It comes with a digital tachometer incorporated. I installed it and when I run the engine at full speed the maximum rpm that it shows is 2100 and the overtemperature alarm is always flashing, but the engine is running well and it is not overheated. As far as I know this tachometer is used for both 2 and 4 strokes and there are 3 switches on the back that have to be adjusted according to the motor type.
Please, can you sent me the right switches adjustments for a 2 strokes motor? because I could not find this in the installation manual.
Thanks in advance
Sergio
