2003 F40 alarm

I am wondering if my F40 has an alarm? It is a tiller model and does not have any gauges attacted. Also does it have a limp mode? My Water pump was not working and got out a little bit before I noticed it and never heard an alarm but wouldnt allow me to go more then an idle it was like it cut the fuel off. Thanks Paul

The tiller handle models does not have a buzzer just the rpm reduction and indicator lights on front of cowling.
