Trim & Tilt on C60TLRV (1997)

It worked fine last fall but this spring I can't get Trim & Tilt to work. Power is good, solenoid? clicks for both up and down. Trim/tilt motor does not whine. I'm starting to... Yamaha dealer very proud of new T&T motors. What should I check out before I buy one? Other threads discuss some similar problems. Are T&T assemblies for this vintage, 3 cyl motors all the same? Thanks in advance, you guys are great, go sox!

If you have 12 volts going to trim motor and trim motor doesn't work then it would need to be replaced. 40-90hp models 1993 and newer does use the same trim motor.

Thank you! I got a guy coming to help me diagnose the relay. I did some investigating on this site and found that the part number is the same for this range hp type "c" motors back to 1993 and forward til at least '02.
