Anyone ever test or have to replace one of these?

I have a '90 200hp and keep getting a low oil alarm, and the motor oil tank level is in fact getting too low. Have replaced the cap and float assembly on the motor tank & drained and cleaned the main oil tank in an effort to resolve the problem but its still happening. Have noticed while underway that pointer on the LED tach will alternate between showing above the green and yellow section.

Am in the process of replacing the steering bracket and would like to resolve this issue as well.

Does it transfer oil by using the toggle switch on engine? No oil will transfer if the yellow oil light in tach is on, if the oil tank in boat is full and still see yellow light then oil level sensor on boat oil tank may be bad.

Have tried using that switch and if it works, it is working very slowly.

It might be the sensor at the boat tank. We replaced the one on the motor but not at the oil tank.

check/replace the filter inside the remote tank.
