Hi fellas thanks for allowing me the opportunity to pick your brains when needed. -B
I have a 2006 Yamaha F90 which was missing a trim gauge. I bought a gauge from the dealer that was just a leftover from a trade-in for $20.
I ran the pink from the front of the motor (trim sender) to the 'S' on the gauge.
I ran the black from the sender to the ground on the gauge.
I ran a ground from the trim gauge to the Tach ground (all the other gauges ground there as well).
I ran Key-on ignition from the Tach to the Trim gauge.
Here's the funny part, the gauge works great except backwards; when i trim up, the gauge needle moves down and vice-versa.
There is no place on the gauge to adjust.
Any ideas?
