motor lifts in reverse

Hello to all. I just found this fourm and wish I had found it a year ago. Anyway when I put the motor in reverse and give it some power it will lift. I know this is a t&t problem. Does anyone know what part in the t&t is at fault. I read another post about this and they said to rebuild the pressure releif valve, however I'm not sure which valve this is. The closes valve I see in the diagram to this discription is the manual release valve. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Guess that would help. I have 1997 90hp. Thanks for any help. Other than this problem t&t works fine and I don't want to have to rebuild the whole thing if I can narrow it down to the valve that is bad.
