Cranks no start

2002-2003 Yamaha V6 200HP fuel injected
Started engine up after all winter let it run 15 mins nice and smooth. Shut it off. My friend started the engine the next day,let it run & forgot to turn the fuel on at the fuel filter, the engine ran out of gas and now it will not start at all. Check the fuel its ok, glass bowl on the bottom of the fuel filter, drain some gas off no water came out, fuel looks clean and smell good. Turn fuel back on and engine will not start. Remove spark plugs -looks wet, clean and put them back in and still will not start. Has Spark.

need to ensure injectors are firing, no fuel to the hi pressure pump is bad, not sure how long it takes to damage it.
have someone turn on key while you listen to the vapor tank, large aluminum tank on port side, make sure it is building pressure.
