This is first time working on an outboard. I'm wanting to remove the powerhead. I have it disconnected from everything, and removed nine 8mm bolts from below it that fasten to it. What is the procedure to get it out, it seems to be stuck.
not sure on the 90's but on the v-6's there are studs and bolts under front and rear of block, you may want to look at a block diagram to see if yours does.drop the lower cowl to expose.
you may also want to drop lower unit to seperate driveshaft from crank end.
