on my '94 proV200 i've had the oil tank in the engine have the cap come off some how and have the oil go all over. It was like the tank got full and the pressure blew the cap off. It has happened a couple times in the last year. Well this weekend on the lake when I started the engine it was like it had happened again.I had SMOKE all over the place. It was like the motor was on fire. I loaded the boat and took the cowling off and the cap was still on but I had oil spilling out of the carbs this time.
Can these oil injection pumps get stuck on ON and keep pumping oil all the time?
