1991 yamaha 250 hp stalling

my yamaha 250 started a spitting and occasionally
cause the motor to stop at idle / *****ing speeds.it is intermitting this way and it seems to clear over time. over the winter i completly draind the tank. there was very little debris- crystal like sand particles.i have replaced the following fuel hose from the tank to the filter(new) racor fuel water seperator. new primer ball yamaha.new fuel line to the motor. new fuel assy on motor.all new yamaha fuel hoses.new fuel regulator.filled tank with ethanol added stabol. looking at carburators and fuel pumps that may have crystals inside causing the blockage. any help appreciated.

Yes I would clean carbs and fuel pumps, the spitting at idle is probably a lean pop which means carbs needs to be cleaned.

how hard is it to rebuild the carbs. are there manufactures settings for the jets etc.and what about the re sync of the carbs.
