Yamaha Guage ?

Put the boat in the water today and noticed that the port motor guage shows the motor trimmed halfway up.The trim works fine but the guage is not going all the way down?The starboard motor guage is fine .These are the yamaha fuel management guages and they were fine when I put the boat away in the fall.
Any help is appreciated.

either a stuck sending unit under tilt tube or the tab that pushes the sender is broken, mounted around the tilt tube.
