Temperature gauge for F40

How hard is it to install a temperature gauge in my brand new F40TLR outboard.
My reason for this thought is that there is no check to see if the alarm buzzer works. No pre-check when you start the engine. Am I wrong? (Have 703 Control and Mulifunction gauge installed)

Temp gauge is not hard to install, it does require a temp sender that has to installed on engine(threads into water port) and run wire up to console. The multifunction tach does have temp light and when you first turn ignition on it will self test warning indicator in gauge but will not sound buzzer.
