Hello, My brother describes the problem on his early 90s 50hp Yamaha (mixer) like it's losing power or dropping a cylinder at high speeds. I cleaned the carbs for him. They were virtually perfect anyway but I checked all jets etc. No sign of debris or water. It seemed to be fixed on our test run but a few weeks later and the problem is still there. All plugs are burning about the same color. Is it common to have a coil drop out at high speeds or should I pursue another area. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
