Tilt Gauge Installation

I have a tilt gauge left over from from a previously installed Honda BF50A outboard motor. I now have a Yamaha T60 motor installed on my pontoon boat and would like to reuse the old Honda tilt gauge. Can anyone tell me of any incompatibility issues? Thanks.

The Honda 50 tilt gauge will only work on the Honda 50. You can use a Yamaha or aftermarket gauge but you will need a wire harness 68F-82563-70-00 and if you don't already the gauge harness it's 6Y5-82553-N0-00.

I believe that the 68F-82563-70-00 harness is what I have on my pontoon boat since it was installed along with the T60 motor. Can I buy the 6Y5-82553-N0-00 gauge harness from boats.net along with the proper gauge?
