I just purchased a new Yamaha Multifunction Tachometer that has less wires than my old 2001 model. I'm trying to connect a 2001 70hp Yamaha oil-injected outboard (70TLRZ) to the new tach guage, but the Trim/Oil wiring harness plugs do not match. The old harness has a dual 4pin connector vs the new one has a single 4pin connector. I traced the wire colors and found that the new guage does not have an orange and Back/White wire. The dealer claims I can buy an adaptor...I searched the internet and didn't locate one. Any Ideas?
