Spark plug Advice

Hello ALL, Last summer was the first on my new motor..I changed the oil and lower unit oil etc...and ran the boat yesterday for the first time this season...it runs fantastic ! Should I change the plugs anyway since the book says to do it once a year? or should I leave well enough alone for now? It just ran so well I dont see tha need..Thanks for the advice...I have a 2005 50HP Four stroke.

If it runs well I would not change spark plugs. However, I always keep a spare set of new spark plugs in the boat - just in case.

I believe that you should follow the books recommendations. Just because your car runs fine, it does not mean you should not Chang the oil at recommended intervals
