FMG to GPS

I am trying to get my speed input from my Furuno gp 32 to feed my FMG and can not get it to read MPG.

I have the white wire from the Furuno hooked to my white FMG and have flipped the last 2 dip switches to up and down, but still no mpg reading, just dashes.......

House battery powers my gps and the other 2 batteries power my FMG, but all grounds are connected together.

Is there something I am missing?

I sent you an email with the FMS instructions and the Furuno 32 manual in case you don't have it already. Did you configure the Furuno to output to the NMEA line?

Sorry I didn't get the email, I just updated my add...............Could you send again please?

I am not sure about configuring NMEA output, but I have tried all 3 versions 2.1 , 2.0 , and 1.5, is that what you mean? I am not sure if you can turn the output on/off.

Well, went out this weekend and configured GPS to output on nmea line, and also added the same ground from my gps to my FMG, still no MPG........ Any other thoughts?
