I have somehow misplaced the black spacer for the 703 control box. I assume the spacer is so the fast idle lever can move freely? Would it be OK to use washers or the like?
I had to space out my control box from the side of the boat, and used plastic cutting board material. Pickup a large plastic cutting board from Costco and put several pieces together to get the right spacing. Been working well for years now. Water proof to boot.
